First study published
We are happy to inform you that the April issue of the Minerva Anestesiologica journal published the first study on Spritztube, "Airway management with Fastrach laryngeal mask versus Spritztube: a prospective randomized manikin-based study". The study was conducted at the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care of San Bortolo Hospital (VIcenza, Italy) and enrolled 47 participants among medical and non-medical staff, some of them having no previous experience in endotracheal intubation. The results of the study confirmed the Spritztube's ease of use and higher success rate compared to the LMA Fastrach, which by the way had no correlation to the operator's skill level or previous intubation or fiberscopy experience.

We would also like to thank Prof. Felice Agrò, who dedicated an editorial article to the Spritztube that we are extremely proud and enthusiastic about!
